I haven't, but it's my dream to travel the country in an RV.

Strictly speaking, as in traveling the country just for the sake of learning and homeschooling, no.

But when we moved to Japan, I used it as a unit study and took every opportunity we could while we were traveling (26 hours, 3 layovers and 3 kids under 6 years old in tow). And of course living in a foreign country was the ultimate homeschooling opportunity of a lifetime.

We traveled from Japan to the UK and did the same and the 3 weeks we spent in the UK of course was a mini unit study in itself and lead to many rabbit trails when we returned home to Japan.

Same thing when we moved back to the States, same thing when we moved half way across the country.

We weren't traveling just for the sake of traveling and moving (my ex-husband was in the military in case you were wondering why we kept moving far and wide lol) but we did still seize educational opportunities along the way and in all the places we've had the luck to be able to travel to.

We love to! Unfortunately, I have a job now that makes it difficult to just take off for a month or so. The boys learn sooooo much more and are best memories are from our homeschooling trips. The best was our Lewis and Clark trip, from the almost-beginning all the way to the ocean.

I put no, because in the strict sense we don't do any schoolwork while traveling. But we are a family that loves museums so we always learn a lot wherever we are. We also do the Junior Ranger everywhere we go. It is homeschooling in an unschooling way, but I never bring any schoolbooks.
