I just meant when you start homeschooling. Whether it's sitting and instructing, starting up the computer for online courses, heading out for the day, or just getting going for a day of unscripted natural learning. (class/session/etc)

And yes, I have lessons with some of my kids, some of the time. Before my oldest headed to college, she had a literature course with her younger sister. We read, analyzed, and discussed. I give my 5-year-old instruction on handwriting, etc.

Usually 9/9:30am for us, unless it's a day that I work an evening at the library and my daughter is coming with...she will start later in the day on those days since she does independent work while at the library.

Our little night owl gets up sometime around 10 or 11 and we start out slow usually doing 'watching work' over breakfast - Usually a PBS Kids show of some sort. We then work on and off throughout the afternoon/evening. We have learned to be careful not to have anything too heady left for after 8pm, but music, art, reading and games are fine.

I am an early riser. Usually I am up by 6:00. Dd is up around 9:30. I have come to rely on that time in the morning before she is awake to plan, research, and organize. We start school around 10:30.
