We always spend it with family except for this one precious year when I was a young adult and spent it with friends. That was by far the best Thanksgiving I've ever had. After Thanksgiving, I told my closest friend that I'm coming to her house next year. She was thrilled. Ahh, a new beginning.
We took the summer off as I couldnít get anything started w/o a regular routine in place. Doing 3rd grade now and so far so good.

We spend a couple days in the desert, a couple days visiting attractions and eating really good food.
We dont gamble, and arent raging alcoholics, but it is nice sometimes for hubby and I to be able to have a couple drinks (at the restaurant) and not have to worry about driving.
And I love primerib for thursdays dinner.
(We also drive there, so its easy to pack a cooler with deli stuff for our desert days.)
    This sounds AMAZING.

This site is an INCLUSIVE community that recognizes that homeschoolers choose secular homeschool materials and resources for a variety of reasons and to accomplish a variety of personal and educational goals. Although SecularHomeschool.com, and its members, have worked hard to compile a comprehensive directory of secular curricula, it does not attest that all materials advertised on our site, in our newsletters, or on our social media profiles are 100% secular. Rather, SecularHomeschool.com respects the aptitude of each individual homeschool parent to fully research any curriculum before acquiring it, to ensure that it holistically meets the educational, personal, and philosophical goals of each homeschooler.
