I grew up in west-central Wisconsin, but it looks like you're south of where I was. How close are you to Winona, MN? My friend use to live there and she surrounded herself with a lot of free thinkers. Not sure how many HS, but worth a shot.

About SimplyJaneen
I am a homeschooling mom of two girls, 8 and 3 1/2. This is my second official year homeschooling and I'm still trying to get it all figured out. I am an atheist though I do consider myself spiritual and have beliefs that come from various non-Christian religions. I am married to a fundamentalist though which makes things very interesting at times. As a homeschooler, I tend to not fit in not only due to my non-Christian beliefs but also because my husband's Christian beliefs fall outside of mainstream Christianity. So I don't really fit in very well at all with the local homeschooling group.
