  1. OH, I just found your message - thanks! I dont remember if i was talking about a particularly bad day, or what . .. but life is never dull around here, I tell you. Luckily he's fairly stable on meds - except when we forget - in fact, typing that, i just realized we'd forgotten his meds because we ate out - which happens about 4 times a year!

I'm starting to think about applying for SSi for him for when he graduates . . . i have no idea if he will be able to support himself or not, or how much support he will need to be out in the world. He's very smart, sweet, and often helpful . ..but still has close to zero self control. so many things to worry about!
  2. Hi, Cara! Hope you have a great day! (Read your post about dealing with a bi-polar child. Pretty sure my daughter has the same thing. Her father does, so we have lived with mental illness for a long time. A tough road to say the least!) So I am sending happy thoughts your way! Here's hoping for a happy day for you and yours and happy days to come!

Although, and its members, have worked hard to compile a comprehensive directory of secular curricula, it does not attest that all materials advertised on our site, in our newsletters, or on our social media profiles are 100% secular. Rather, respects the aptitude of each individual homeschool parent to fully research any curriculum before acquiring it, to ensure that it holistically meets the educational, personal, and philosophical goals of each homeschooler.
