  1. Nice to meet you, too! You'd be surprised at how many homeschooling Browncoats I've met - we're e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e And while I do love Captain Tightpants, that's not my only love of the show (Jayne...the man they call Jayne). And I still can't watch Wash's death without getting choked up (so I just close my eyes for that part). I do like Star Trek, but I was always a bigger Star Wars fan (and I'm a total Whedonist).
  2. Hi Guys! I'll try posting this right... you know first timer. Hey Topsy, how would you know about Browncoats? You must be a fan as well! If you missed the series - it's all available via Netflix.

Firefly_Mom, awesome to meet you - and kinda sorry about the shared name thing! I didn't think a h/sing-mom-type website would be crawling with Brownies. Then again, it makes sense to run into people here that I would have more in common with. Tell me, are you just a Nathan Fillion worshiper or do you also get misty eyed when you hear Ballad of Serenity? ...And... might you also be a Trekker?
