About salamandah
I am a single mom in West TN homeschooling because my 7 year old son is "bored" in school, bullied everyday and now the school is asking that I have him tested for ADHD. I just feel like I can do a better job than public school. And we can spend more time together. And he will love to learn.

Update: as of April 14 2015, I am a homeschool mom! Or well, deschooling at this point. Maybe trying something a bit more formal in the fall. or not. Time will tell.
I like to read and travel.

This site is an INCLUSIVE community that recognizes that homeschoolers choose secular homeschool materials and resources for a variety of reasons and to accomplish a variety of personal and educational goals. Although, and its members, have worked hard to compile a comprehensive directory of secular curricula, it does not attest that all materials advertised on our site, in our newsletters, or on our social media profiles are 100% secular. Rather, respects the aptitude of each individual homeschool parent to fully research any curriculum before acquiring it, to ensure that it holistically meets the educational, personal, and philosophical goals of each homeschooler.
