I can do that! You know I haven't been on the walking bridge in YEARS, but I just moved to about 5 minutes from downtown, so I have no more excuses =)

You would be amazed at how much things have changed here...we're quite hip now and have all sorts of awesomeness! Even a Whole Foods!

Thank you! I like the more advanced math (Calculus and Trig were easier for me) but basic math- ha! I still have trouble adding and subtracting! LOL. Montesorri is a wonderful method. If we had to stop homeschooling for some reason, I would enroll her into one.

An Aspie's Field Trip

by Mum on 11-09-2011 at 11:00 PM
Get this: We had a great field trip today.
The key was being late.
Of course, I hadn't planned it that way but what a great lesson the homeschooling Mom learned from it.

Here's a link to pics and details if you're interested. Mostly I just want to shout from the rooftops that showing up late with an Aspie to an open house for homeschoolers can be a wonderful thing.

Anyone else love sharing old vinyl with their kids?

This one's more of a short slideshow than a blog entry.

I don't have time for long stories so I just post homeschool-related tidbits.

Feel free to check it out. I'd love to get some feedback before I start posting more frequently when we start school again.

This site is an INCLUSIVE community that recognizes that homeschoolers choose secular homeschool materials and resources for a variety of reasons and to accomplish a variety of personal and educational goals. Although, and its members, have worked hard to compile a comprehensive directory of secular curricula, it does not attest that all materials advertised on our site, in our newsletters, or on our social media profiles are 100% secular. Rather, respects the aptitude of each individual homeschool parent to fully research any curriculum before acquiring it, to ensure that it holistically meets the educational, personal, and philosophical goals of each homeschooler.
