I am sorry to bother but having a hard time getting things going on group board. Are you still working towards raising patriots? This was the first group I found and decide to join as opposed to just being a lurker, but alas it seems no one is home. Please tell me I am not the only one out there working towards this goal.

  2. Hi, sorry just got on and saw your fabulous message. Well sadly I haven't found many secular home schoolers in this area. All the groups that I have found have been pretty religious. I think that their should be more secular home schoolers in Moscow with the college there. When I asked the group in Moscow via online I was mostly ignored, one person said they were tolerant of everyone, but no one said " hey we are secular" which was what I was hoping for.
That being said I have met some amazing home schoolers that I am friends with we just don't bring up the religious thing. If you go to a field trip here you just kind of expect someone to tell you that they named their four kids from the bible and to go on about church a bit. Just part of the rural charm, I guess. Let me know if you decide to move I would love to meet up.
    Good Luck

Hello! i'm a Hsing mom from Ks,4 boys, and my interests and occupations are the same as yours LOL!!!! Minus the hunting and fishing, though we only eat wild game. We are looking into moving to the Moscow, Lewiston area, but we're checking out the secular scene in the area. CdA appears to have about 20 families but I haven't found much near Lewiston, Moscow. Which is the area I'm most interested in. Could you tell me a bit about the homeschool scene up there?

Although, and its members, have worked hard to compile a comprehensive directory of secular curricula, it does not attest that all materials advertised on our site, in our newsletters, or on our social media profiles are 100% secular. Rather, respects the aptitude of each individual homeschool parent to fully research any curriculum before acquiring it, to ensure that it holistically meets the educational, personal, and philosophical goals of each homeschooler.
