  1. Hi there all,
Have 2 kids (2&4) so just getting started in homeschooling. There is a local homeschool group but it is very religious so haven't found many like minded people there yet. I moved to Alberta (Grande Prairie area) from BC when my kids were born to be closer to grandparents.
I am committing to being on here more now that I am approaching "school age" with the oldest (5 in a few months). I know that I want to homeschool but it's a rarity where I live and I'm getting some push back from relatives. My first project has been to write out all my reasons for homeschooling so that I have it down when someone starts grilling me! Anyways, thanks for responding!

Rather, respects the aptitude of each individual homeschool parent to fully research any curriculum before acquiring it, to ensure that it holistically meets the educational, personal, and philosophical goals of each homeschooler.
