Biography:
Born and raised in Shreveport, LA. Undergrad and medical school at LSU. Internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital/Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Stayed on as a staff physician at Hopkins for 2 years. One year fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Mayo Clinic. Consultant in general internal medicine for over a decade at Mayo. Former director of SPARC Innovation Program at Mayo and later technology director at Center for Innovation at Mayo.

Always teetered on the brink of leaving medicine to pursue music. Classically trained pianist mostly performing with chamber music ensembles for last 20 years. Now teaching DD.
