Hey thanks for the reply on my intro post. Also see that you were looking into Noeo, hope my answer helped/ i'm happy to share what I have for reading schedule if you look into getting the books.
one think i have noticed in my very short life of HS'ing is that the kids at the social events are so inclusive, mature and the only thing missing is . . .the crap. No bickering, no teasing, no hierarchy, no exclusion . . i totally loved it! My son has asynchronis development, meaning he thinks like a 40 year old and plays like a 4 year old! My other son can be shy, but will follow older brother's lead. I talked with a couple of moms and they say it is like that all the time, any time there is a child coming to report to an adult it is because someone is hurt from normal play. i LOVE IT!
I hope you can feel out a local group and maybe start off with small activity. The weather is still good enough here for park days, so that is where we started.

This site is an INCLUSIVE community that recognizes that homeschoolers choose secular homeschool materials and resources for a variety of reasons and to accomplish a variety of personal and educational goals. Although, and its members, have worked hard to compile a comprehensive directory of secular curricula, it does not attest that all materials advertised on our site, in our newsletters, or on our social media profiles are 100% secular. Rather, respects the aptitude of each individual homeschool parent to fully research any curriculum before acquiring it, to ensure that it holistically meets the educational, personal, and philosophical goals of each homeschooler.
