    Default Core Values and Philosophy?

    Hi everyone!

My name is Hayley, and I was raised homeschooled. I am now in college, and I have a research paper I have to write for my English class on homeschooling. The research paper primarily focuses on the philosophy and core values of homeschoolers. I have my own ideas of what those are, but I need a to interview a couple people and get their opinion on it.

How would you describe the homeschool philosophy, and what do you believe are its core values? There is no right or wrong answer here, just trying to get different perspectives.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi Hayley, Your English professor should have instructed you to complete an IRB (or IRB training) before conducting interviews/surveys of people, particularly when you post your ideas to the internet. There are some pretty strict rules for doing this.

Although SecularHomeschool.com, and its members, have worked hard to compile a comprehensive directory of secular curricula, it does not attest that all materials advertised on our site, in our newsletters, or on our social media profiles are 100% secular. Rather, SecularHomeschool.com respects the aptitude of each individual homeschool parent to fully research any curriculum before acquiring it, to ensure that it holistically meets the educational, personal, and philosophical goals of each homeschooler.
