Default What does your connections academy day look like?

    Hi everyone, Amanda here.
Haven't started connections academy for my daughter yet, but we've decided on trying it for her 6th grade year. I know there are good things and bad things about it, that's okay, I feel we need to try it out for ourselves. Because some people really do like it. Anyway, I was just wondering, what does your average school day look like if you use connections academy specifically? Like I said looking into it for her 6th grade year. So anything around that age range would be ideal. 5th-8th. Do you schedule morning grocery trips or doctor appointments? Or is there a specific start time to class, how long is your day, what kind of stuff do you do to teach your kiddos, aside from what the teachers are teaching? Anything you can tell me about a daily routine would help out tremendously!!! I'm walking in the dark. Lol oh and is there "homework" at night too? Thanks so much everyone!

    Default Connections academy

They are very flexable, my kids start school at 9 on most days... the only time you have to be online is for live lessons every teacher has there own way of doing things last year my 5th grader had all of his live lessons at 1pm m-th we missed a few it's really not a big deal they are recorded so they can be rewatched each day was a different subject. Some days it was a social live lesson where they played games or had times for sharing.. my 2nd grader it was more like show and tell my 5th grader talked about what they did/doing this weekend.... my son prefers to do longer school days and take a day off... as long as you do the required hours a week and communicate with your teachers you are fine. You have a scheduler you run to organize your days and classes.
