Carol- I am impressed with your carpentry skills! Happy birthday to your DD.

    AM- those quilts are beautiful!
FWP- I don't know if it matters when you get the skill, I know DD is definitely having to do more than last year, but I still am helping her at home. I know my parents never knew what was going on with my schoolwork until the report cards came home. I don't think I had as much homework as DD and high school was incredibly easy for me, so it was really college when the sh*t hit the fan for me and I had to figure out organizational skills. So I guess what I'm saying is I'm not sure it matters about homeschooling vs public school. I'm just happy to see DD engaged and excited about school, doesn't matter if it is home or away.

RTB- I wish we could walk to our swim team, it is a 6 minute drive, so not too bad, but walking is better! Glad your homeschool is going well.

Not running out of enthusiasm before the job is done. Like redoing the exterior of your WHOLE house.
Too late, already have run out. Too late to turn back now, though.

I am impressed with your carpentry skills!
No skill. I'm merely the helper. All the thinky skills go to the hubby. I'm a wiz with the tape measure, though!

Homeschooled two kids for 11 years, now trying to pay it forward
