    Default Tuesday Roll Call, 11/29

Ok, is it just ME or is it crazy that we are almost done with November!?!

    Happy Tuesday!

    Another semi-easy day.
2 little girls. Therapist day. Which always sucks as I have to clean and put stuff away, AND I am behind on this because of last week/weekend.

Need to work on my wrapping up Nov. preschool plans and what we are doing in Dec. plans. Need to print out the next 3 weeks of our work. Need to come up with a couple crafts.

Need to get my grocery list and last of Xmas list done. Friday is grocery day and Sat/Sun I want to do nothing but be at home, in my PJ's and puttering around this house mucking it out.

Boring day here. So far at least. Who knows later!

Did find out the boom box my Grandma gave me works FINE. I just think trying to remember the order for turning on and playing a CD was too much for her. She claimed it was broken.
AND the clock my Dad told her was dead..... he put the battery in backwards. I should have checked before I left. I told her I would just bring it home and replace the motor on it and send it back. Get home home, battery is hard to get out. Realize it was in backwards. Flip it and voila. It works. Has kept time for 24 hours. SO.... need to package and mail THAT to her.

    Have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!

My donation boxes just got picked up. So happy to have a few things out of the house now. I've had that one back sitting around for months. I kept meaning to drop it off but just thought about having it picked up.

I gave up on trying to find a good beginner sock pattern for my secret Santa gift, I'm making gloves. I like making gloves, I'll figure out socks another time. The cats are so good when we leave the house, but when we are home that's when they get into things. I suppose that's good I don't come home to surprises. I'm not super thrilled with watching Elsa drag a gift out from under the tree and across the floor. Also waking up to find my knitting has travel to the stairs is also not my favorite. I'm almost done with secret Santa though, I'll probably be able to wrap everything this week or next week and have it all sent out.

I've been debating varnishing my paintings, I put metal loops and hanging wire on the backs of the canvases last night. I think I should probably buy some varnish though. I just read about the finer points of varnishing your work. I should probably do it. I keep thinking about my painting from high school that was almost ruined and I didn't have a good way to clean it. I had to frame it behind glass. These new ones I should just invest in varnish. I have two to do now, I might have a third or fourth by the end of the week. I'm doubtful about the fourth but I should probably buy loops for that one too. I have this one painting that currently looks like Meryl Streep the problem is that the model looks nothing like Meryl Streep so I'm not happy with it. I want to treat it like an under painting and come back and add to it.
