    Default Thursday Roll Call, 10/13

And the rain-rain-rain came down-down-down in rushing riving rivlets......

Yep, anytime we get THIS kind of storm... so reminds me of the Winnie the Pooh song and movie, Blustery Day.

The storms have started here. Glad for a few days of dry but.......

3 littles today. Wrapping up preschool week, I think watercolor painting this afternoon. Might be what we do with the jackolantern pic we were going to color. And watch a Bo on the Go episode and make them do all the exercises she says.

Today is fighting teens on writing. Ya me. NOT. Both hate writing and they know they need to do it but. I want resume outline written before we type it.

And DH has a work meeting, I hope. Stupid B-Y manager that they ALL hate has made him sweat this all week. Tom. we are having a meeting. That never comes. She pushes it to next day. She is leaving at end of month for maternity leave and to be a SAHM, so she is being EXTRA B-Y. And she doesn't like DH because he refuses to take her crap, she lies, she makes up stories and writes people up for nothing. Last week a gal had Lasik eye surgery. It ran an hour late. She came to work after. She got written up because she was an hour late. Even though she had no control over that AND the fact that she came to work after eye surgery. Ya. Luckily, we have a contingency plan if she were to be putting this meeting off all week to fire him. Hope not, but we are prepared.

And that is my day. Need to remember where I put the spare throw rug for the back door too. These kind of days, I try to change them out after parents and kids come and go.

    Have a GREAT day everyone!

I hope she just makes a lot of noise but doesn't do anything to permanently shake things up on her way out.

So far we are on track to do some school today. I have to do a bunch of laundry today, and I get to finally make that lasagna I wanted to make 2 days ago. I have plans to do a few experiments with materials in my sketchbook. I really want to do this second portrait in charcoal but I think I'm going to end up with colored pencil because of that red. I have to pick from a giant list of past swap themes for the atc swap, now I have too many choices. I might save the list and see how many I can work through. That might be fun.

You are the 2nd person today that I chat with making Lasagna Riceball!! That kind of weather.
I love it but rarely make it as DH and youngest DS don't. So ends up being a 2 meal dinner if I want it. Though most of our meals are kind of those anyways.

Oh I think is going out with a bang, literally. She is going to make it HE-- double toothpicks for everyone there before she leaves. I sent DH a text and reminded him to not cut off his nose to spite his face, she is leaving soon. Other office manager SWEARS he isn't getting fired(she will be sitting in on meeting) but who the heck knows. I don't trust this gal at all. She is power hungry and the PG hormones are rampant. Plus the fact that she is NOT being allowed back isn't helping her mood.

A&W, she sounds like a peach. At least they'll all be rid of her soon. Poor child of hers though. Power hungry doesn't equal "good stay at home mom material".

We were supposed to close tomorrow. Got a call this afternoon that we were looking at Tuesday as a close date. Seller had 1 piece of paper to sign and get to them by this morning. And...of course he did not. Shoot me now. I've gotten to the point where I can't even be excited about moving anymore because the seller is such a dick. And his agent is apparently completely incompetent. We have now been delayed almost 3 weeks (and we gave them 6 weeks at the start so PLENTY of time) because the seller can't download, sign, scan, email with anything approaching speeds faster than a snail.

    Just...shoot me now.

That freaking bites. WTH is their problem. And ya, 6 weeks is plenty of time and now you are 9 weeks. I don't blame you. I would be nuts too. I like timelines and sticking to them. HUGS

    Hello Folks! Its Thursday!

I am now looking into curriculum. Ecot here in Ohio has an online curriculum. (https://www.ecotohio.org/) I am however looking if there is something better that would have live video assistance from a teacher if he needed extra supports. Look for all the suggestions we can get. Thank You.
