Curried cauliflower for all! I first had it at a nearby restaurant, and have been working at finding a homemade variety.

Its under "Oak roasted curry cauliflower"... sort of pretentious imo. Better be, they charge 8.25 for it. My DIY materials cost a lot less.

The lemon aioli is where Im stuck now.

I will be taking up lap swimming in a couple of weeks, I hope! Not gonna be as healthful as INmom is, but shes an inspiration.

Just keep moving Alexsmom, just keep moving. That's my goal. The 70- and 80-somethings at the pool and on the trails sometimes put me to shame!

I need to get back on treadmill. I have lost 10# in 5 months. Not great but I didnt do tons and have been under some stress, so ya. And now that it is cooler here, DH and I will start walking. I did not like his weight at his check-up 2 weeks ago. He doesn't know I saw it, but OMG. GRRRRR

And my lovely Grandmother reminding me I am only 5 years away from age my Dad died and daughters take after fathers side..... didn't help. Ya Gram, I know that I could be a ticking time bomb, but thanks for reminding me..... sheesh. I lead a totally different lifestyle, I don't smoke, drink little, eat mostly veggies and fiber, etc. but thanks for that..... love her but OMG!

One time the kids and I were hiking up one heck of a grade, a man who must have been in his 60 ran past us at a nice pace. He said good morning, asked us how our day was - without of hint of being winded! Amazing.

Its not even 9am, and Im beat. And therapy today.
Wow! That is a rough night. Hope tonight is better. And WTF with the explosion. That's kind of scary....

Aandwsmom - your daycare space sounds amazing. It will be super-cute with the fan. I'd love to see pictures when you get it done.

So I have an email in to my health assistant/insurance lady to find out if the test is even cover, if this doctor is in network and then I'll have to ask if she can give me an estimate on the deductible that I'll owe. *head desk*
OMG I hate insurance companies and medical crap. It's like a freaking part-time job. Sorry you're having to deal with all that.

I think I spoke too soon this morning... Shortly after I posted about how the day was going well, the baby's CPS worker called and was all "Oh by the way, I forgot to tell you we moved the visit from 2:00 to 1:00." So great, that means I'm not going to be able to finish the schoolwork we had planned, and I'm going to have to wake baby up from her morning nap early, and since the visit this afternoon is four hours, she won't get an afternoon nap either, but sure no problem. Then to top things off no one told mom either. I called her to ask something else, and she had no idea we were coming at one. Seriously CPS lady. Seriously? #Fostercaresucks (sometimes) Okay - done venting now.

Bottom line Grammar and History did not happen today - Goal for Wednesday: Catch-up maybe and Not. Leave. My. House.

SecularHomeschool.com is a community and information source where secular homeschoolers ARE the majority. It is the home for non-religious homeschoolers, eclectic homeschoolers, freethinking homeschoolers AND anyone interested in homeschooling irrespective of religion. This site is an INCLUSIVE community that recognizes that homeschoolers choose secular homeschool materials and resources for a variety of reasons and to accomplish a variety of personal and educational goals. Although SecularHomeschool.com, and its members, have worked hard to compile a comprehensive directory of secular curricula, it does not attest that all materials advertised on our site, in our newsletters, or on our social media profiles are 100% secular. Rather, SecularHomeschool.com respects the aptitude of each individual homeschool parent to fully research any curriculum before acquiring it, to ensure that it holistically meets the educational, personal, and philosophical goals of each homeschooler.
