We had a low-key day today. Tech and I did some school work, practiced more on spelling and phonics, and some basic addition, but we're taking it easy this week. Thursday is exciting as inspection on house is Thursday and Half Price Books FINALLY opens a bookstore near us! WE LOVED the one in Indy, so can't wait to visit this one! AND it's even closer to where we will be moving so happy dances all around!

DH has said I could get another kitten when we move. I lost my baby that I handraised from just a 2 day old baby to kidney failure almost 5 years ago, and I'm starting to get the urge for another orange baby kitty again. One of my two dogs is not going to make it til the end of the year, so I'll need a pick me up. She moved in with my parents when Tech got mobile as she was NOT having a toddler in the house, and now she's 14, gone totally deaf, lost her sense of smell, is going blind, and is starting to be miserable. I noticed today while over that she barely noticed I was there, and she has always ALWAYS followed me around. Life with pets can suck sometimes.

SecularHomeschool.com is a community and information source where secular homeschoolers ARE the majority. It is the home for non-religious homeschoolers, eclectic homeschoolers, freethinking homeschoolers AND anyone interested in homeschooling irrespective of religion. This site is an INCLUSIVE community that recognizes that homeschoolers choose secular homeschool materials and resources for a variety of reasons and to accomplish a variety of personal and educational goals. Although SecularHomeschool.com, and its members, have worked hard to compile a comprehensive directory of secular curricula, it does not attest that all materials advertised on our site, in our newsletters, or on our social media profiles are 100% secular. Rather, SecularHomeschool.com respects the aptitude of each individual homeschool parent to fully research any curriculum before acquiring it, to ensure that it holistically meets the educational, personal, and philosophical goals of each homeschooler.
