    Default Monday Roll Call, 8/15

    Good Morning!!!
How does this find you this morning?
Ready for the day? Ready for a school day if you are starting?
Should(HAHA) be a back to normal week around here. Everyone back from vacation.
    HOT here though. UGH
I am cleaning today. Switched out the AC in our room with the kitchen AC because THAT one had a remote, so DH doesn't have to get up in middle of night and change temp by hand. But that meant removing all the daycare stuff I had sitting in front of it, etc. So, since that is gone. Guess I am going to wipe it all down, clean it and put it back today.
Saw my brother over the weekend. That was nice. Little visit, we are caught up again. He is a paraplegic due to motorcycle accident and we live in same State now but he has kids, I have kids, 3 hours apart. Saw him in April for his Wedding, saw him now and chances are, won't see him until Thanksgiving at my parents in CA.
He has to go see his Wound Dr. today, so will be stopping by parents/grandma house. Sent him with a package for her of family tree stuff that I have been digging up for her.
Got to pick some tomatoes this weekend!!! That HOT weather the past 4 days helped ripen some. Off they go to freezer land until it is cooler and I have time to can them into marinara sauce.
Boys start their career unit study today. And looking for jobs for Fall.
    And that is it here.
    Have a MARVELOUS day everyone!

Oh and I have to say, unsubscribing emails. Not only has it been cleansing but my inbox has SO much less. This morning, 32 emails. 3 were stuff to once again unsubscribe from and the rest was homeschool related(mostly junk) or FB notices.
Usually, I wake up to over 100 emails.

Taking my son to Purdue for his first year today, in the rain. I'm hoping I don't cry like a baby. Already drove dd back to school to Iowa on Saturday.

    Good luck Carol!

Just a normal Monday for us. My calendar / morning meeting routine has expanded to cover about 50% of our school work, lol. DD will sit with us too so I guess it's working for everyone. Library this afternoon. Hot hot hot here. Hoping to get to the bank and Costco, too. We usually only go one place so I know I'm asking for trouble!

Hugs Carol! I hope it goes well.

Last week was busy. We hosted a pool party for a friend who is going away - full house for that one on Wednesday. Then DS's best friends came on Friday to spend the weekend with us. I quickly realized that we were in over our head, so we jumped the school ship last week around Tuesday, minus math. I spent Sunday putting up food, and batch cooking some meals, because soccer season is upon us.

Today is a catch up day for laundry, dishes, housework. We also have dentist and orthodontic apts today. So no school going on here.

It is the start of a new 6 week block for us, so I need to sit down and plan out what we are going to actually do. Right now my plan is still swirling around in my brain.

Hope you all have a good Monday.

Wow Andwsmom, that's a lot going on.

Oh mam my kid has been like this all week - I only wish she would nap.

It's rainy and in the 80s here in north Texas - which is kind of miraculous. It was 107 a couple days ago. Took baby to her Kindermusik class today, and finishing up planning so we are prepared to start school next Monday. Where did the summer go?? I had hoped to get the whole year planned over the summer, but it's not gonna happen. I think I'll finish the first semester though, so I feel pretty good about that.

DH is off today, and took DD with him to run errands, so even though, she won't nap that's something at least. She's been in a mood lately. I think the unstructuredness of summer has just gotten to be too much for her. TFZ - good luck with your errands. Hope everyone cooperates!

Hugs to INMOM. Is it weird knowing they wont be home for dinner tonight, or tomorrow night, or all week or all month?

And yay for decluttering email. I hate all that crap that distracts me from things I care about. Its like junk mail arriving at the house.... I didnt ask for it, and its a nuisance for me to have to throw it away. If only we could be unsubscribed to all the crap that comes in postal mail - mortgage refi offers and car insurance are the most common I get accosted with.

At the house, its a routine domestic day... therapy, sorting through clothes, cleaning out the garage.... same old same old. I wonder if I will be keeping it up once school starts. (We have been doing math over the summer, are all caught up now.)

Welp the sky just opened up. Total downpour. I'll have to skip the errands. Boo and yay. Boo can't get things done. Yay don't have to make the kids put on pants.
