Thread: Space books?

    I have this NatGeo book, it would be great for little ones

    I know of a few others from Usborne that he might like- My Very First Space Book and Look Inside Space.

    Ah, I wished I read this thread from the start because we just got rid of all our space picture books. My eldest was so into it since he was three/four, but my youngest isn't too interested, so we donated all of them (we weeded our books last week). I would have gladly mailed them to you.

    My son liked both the improbable (a boy joins the space shuttle crew to get his sister's red balloon) to the scientific. Don't worry about giving him too much information--as long as he is engaged and interested, it doesn't matter how much info he "gets" or not. My son knew--and understood--how black holes are formed and who knows what else, by the age of four. The only warning I have is don't let strangers tell him how smart he is. I wish someone told me this.
