    Default Creating a new poll

When you post a new thread, you may have the option to also create a poll.
This function allows you to ask a question and specify a number of possible responses. Other members will then be able to vote for the response they wish, and the results of the voting will be displayed in the thread.
    An example poll might be:
    What is your favorite color?

    1. Red
    2. Blue
    3. Yellow
    4. Green
    5. Sky-blue pink with yellow spots

To create a poll when you post a new thread, simply click the 'Yes! post a poll' checkbox at the bottom of the page, and set the number of possible responses you want to include.
When you click the submit button, you will be taken to the poll creation page, where you can specify the question and the list of responses you want to include.
You may also want to specify a time limit for the poll, so that (for example) it only stays open for voting for a week.

Do the polls go to moderation? I just created one and now can't find it, not even under newly started threads.

One of the slightly annoying things I've noticed though is that polls don't pop up under "New Posts" for awhile. At first I thought it was until someone had posted in it after it was no longer moderated. Now I think it's even longer - after a few messages. Like, I wouldn't have known there was a poll in this forum except Batgirl said there was and you said it was up. So I went and found it. Not sure if it's worth fixing as it's a pretty minor glitch though. Only those of us who are on here WAY too much would notice.

HAHA... I can pass it along to Michael to look at..I hadn't noticed that before. They usually post for me when I go in and check on them, but I don't check that every time. I will see if Kat knows anything about it also, and get back to you

Secularhomeschool.com aims to be your one-stop shop for all things homeschool! SecularHomeschool.com is a community and information source where secular homeschoolers ARE the majority. It is the home for non-religious homeschoolers, eclectic homeschoolers, freethinking homeschoolers AND anyone interested in homeschooling irrespective of religion. This site is an INCLUSIVE community that recognizes that homeschoolers choose secular homeschool materials and resources for a variety of reasons and to accomplish a variety of personal and educational goals. Although SecularHomeschool.com, and its members, have worked hard to compile a comprehensive directory of secular curricula, it does not attest that all materials advertised on our site, in our newsletters, or on our social media profiles are 100% secular. Rather, SecularHomeschool.com respects the aptitude of each individual homeschool parent to fully research any curriculum before acquiring it, to ensure that it holistically meets the educational, personal, and philosophical goals of each homeschooler.
