    I happened across a secular homeschooler's blog this morning that I had never visited before, and that is always an exciting prospect for me. Sadly, though, I quickly discovered that the ENTIRE purpose of this mom's blog was to discredit Christians and Christianity. Each post was a diatribe full of cartoons, quotes, and satires of Christians, Christian homeschoolers, and anything related to the Christian faith.

    I felt so sad for this woman. Her whole identity is wrapped up in who she "isn't."

    Secular Homeschoolers shouldn't have to be spending their time explaining who they "aren't." Maybe the problem is the word "secular"?? The definition of secular is usually something like: rejecting religion or not concerned with religion. The word SECULAR, I guess, defines us, by what we AREN'T. That bums me out.
