Hi from New Hampshire!
I'm so glad to find this forum and all the resources on this site. I am a working mom to 3, one in college (L), one in high school (I), and one homeschooler (H).
I homeschooled all three for a few years in the elementary/middle school years. When they were in 8th, 5th, and 3rd grades respectively, we put them all in public school. L and I thrived, but H was miserable!
It has been a challenge to homeschool while working. I hope to find some support here, but also to be able to offer whatever I can.
I look forward to meeting you all!Jade Skye

Welcome. How old is your homeschooler now? I also work (part-time, from home, self-employed) and currently have one homeschooling and one in school. It is a juggle isn't it, and I imagine even harder if you work outside of the home and more than part-time.

Hi! My homeschooler is a junior this year (she's 17). I'm an admin assistant at the high school where my son attends, so I work school hours and I have school vacations and summers off. She loves project-based learning, and I'd love to be creating and learning along with her, so it's hard to be away. Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome Jade. I also worked (part-time from home) when homeschooling. (My kids are in college/graduating college right now.) It takes some juggling and a lot of organizing, but you must already know that by now.
On another note, DH and I find your state breathtakingly beautiful. We climbed Mt. Washington last year--so exhilarating!Carol
