    Default Hi from Utah!

Hey y'all! I'm a homeschooling mom of 2 girls, they're nearly 2 years apart, but we school them at the same level. We are in our 2nd year of homeschooling and use Build Your Library curriculum, though this year I've kind of gone my own way a bit more because of some hard things going on in our family. Is it bad that at the moment I'm only focusing hard on Math?

Anyway, I've had an account here since sometime in 2017, and I want to finally start using it.

Welcome to posting. Hope to hear from your regularly. Check out the roll call threads if you feel like it.

No it is not bad that you are taking time to process other things and only really focusing on math. BYL can be quite an intensive schedule if you try stick to it rigidly, and I certainly found it easier just to pick and choose and go at our own pace when we did it.

    Welcome to talking!

I also skimp on the BYL schedule... conferring with our charterís educational advisor, she said it was a lot for each day. I still love it for all the resources it has, though, and thought out to be together.

    Atheist.

My spelling was fine, then my brain left me.

This site is an INCLUSIVE community that recognizes that homeschoolers choose secular homeschool materials and resources for a variety of reasons and to accomplish a variety of personal and educational goals. Although SecularHomeschool.com, and its members, have worked hard to compile a comprehensive directory of secular curricula, it does not attest that all materials advertised on our site, in our newsletters, or on our social media profiles are 100% secular. Rather, SecularHomeschool.com respects the aptitude of each individual homeschool parent to fully research any curriculum before acquiring it, to ensure that it holistically meets the educational, personal, and philosophical goals of each homeschooler.
