Default Hello from India (for now)!

HI Everyone, Currently in India but soon to be back in France (lots of moving due to husband's work). I'm a mom of 4 (19, 17, 10, 8). Our 10 year old was recently diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder. His teacher had done all the things one shouldn't do and his confidence plummetted. So I pulled him from school and decided to give homeschooling a go. He is doing great these days (3 weeks homeschooling). I'm looking forward to learning from everyone here!! <3

How exciting that you get to travel so often! How cultural for your kids, even if they dont appreciate it now.
I hope your 10yo recovers his spirit. A lot of people recommend taking some time to “deschool”, especially when coming from a traumatic school experience.
Where in India are you? I have a couple online friends, one near the Paki border and another on the south-east coast, and Im always astonished whenever they casually mention some cultural difference that would be totally alien here. (Communal water from a well, not enough electricity, the vendor slaughtering and butchering chicken in front of you...)
    Homeschooling DS13, DS6.

My spelling was fine, then my brain left me.

Thanks! Our children do appreciate it. They've had amazing experiences but it's also caused some stresses for them with the constant moves. But I do think the positives outweigh the negatives for sure.

We are currently in New Delhi (I really really really dislike it - the pollution is insane so not a lot of outdoor time between October and March and then it's unbelievably hot the rest of the time) but I try not to complain too much. At least not out loud
