    Default Hello from Newbie!

Hi there! I have been homeschooling my two bigger kids for almost a year. My son just graduated to first grade and my daughter to kindergarten. This has been a scary and amazing journey so far and is already so rewarding. I look forward to growing our homeschool community by making lasting relationships with other like-minded homeschoolers. I would love to connect with other families with kindergarteners and first-graders for field trips. If anyone is in the Portland area send me a message!

Hi! My son is working his way through first grade-ish right now, and my preschool daughter just asked to learn to read so I guess we are starting in January, lol. I have a toddler, too. He might be the smartest of them all but in a crafty, manipulative tornado of a toddler sort of way. We are about as far away as you can get - south Florida. Welcome to the group
I'm a work-at-home mom to three, homeschool enthusiast, and avid planner fueled by lattes and Florida sunshine. My oldest is 6 and is a fircond grader (that's somewhere between first and second, naturally), my preschooler just told me she wants to learn how to read, and my toddler is a force of nature.

I gather all kinds of secular homeschool resources and share them at
