    Default Ciao from bella Italia!

Hello all! I'm a SAHM (sometimes substitute teacher), of four boys. I'm currently living in the area of bella Napoli (Italia). I homeschooled when we got here originally, sent my kids to an Italian/International school, and they went to back to the American school on base last fall.

I'm not impressed with some of the edcuation they've been receiving, so at least two of my boys will be homeschooled next fall-my incredibly sociable 11 year old desperately wants to stay in public school. As long as he does well and doesn't have any problems with other kids, I'm okay with it!

We'll be here for at least 2.5 more years, and then hopefully it's back home to SoCal (southest San Diego). I'm not sure if I'll homeschool there-it depends if the schools remain as dedicated as they were before.

I'm looking forward to getting to know my way around here.

A little belated now, but welcome to SH! Are you able to homeschool "legally" in Italy or do you have to fly under the radar?

Rather, respects the aptitude of each individual homeschool parent to fully research any curriculum before acquiring it, to ensure that it holistically meets the educational, personal, and philosophical goals of each homeschooler.
