    Default Alternatives to Dissection

    For those who have skipped dissection (but not human/animal anatomy) - What kinds of alternatives have you used?

    We have bought a cool artificial frog with internal organs to learn about, and I am researching Apps, applications, and books that help kids learn about different lifeforms' anatomy. I would love to hear positive experiences from others who found excellent alternatives.

    I have a couple of links to virtual dissections.

    This McGraw-Hill site has some for frog and earthworm. It has other virtual labs as well.

    Here is another from The National Anti-Vivisection Society. Dozens of sources there.

    In university we used rats to study anatomy. Was quite creepy experience
