Default Dragonbox Math now has a Chess Game

We discovered the Dragonbox math games last spring and DD LOVED them! She is advanced in math but still really craves the 'fun' presentation of lower level stuff, so it was a terrific fit.

This weekend we saw that they have a new game Magnus Kingdom Chess, so of course she wanted to try it out. It did not disappoint. 24 hrs later she was playing chess against her older brother at the kitchen table.

I highly recommend it as a starting point for learning the game.

Thanks for sharing! My husband is the only chess player in the house and he wanted to teach DD how to play, but I think he didn’t really want to go through the process of teaching her.
We took the summer off as I couldn’t get anything started w/o a regular routine in place. Doing 3rd grade now and so far so good.

Thanks! The title “Magnus Kingdom of Chess” and lack of Dragonbox branding threw me.
