Default Finishing RightStart Level E. Looking for suggestions for next step

Considering RightStart Level G which is next I think. And Art of Problem Solving.

We've only ever used RightStart. My kids don't hate math but they don't love it. They are okay at it. Not great.

    Looking for suggestions.

RightStart recommends the VideoText Algebra, or something like that, but we absolutely hated it! It took awhile for us to find our way but my science/math geek son liked Art of Problem Solving and then did Derek Owens for Calculus. Derek Owens' classes are online but you watch the videos whenever you want, they aren't live. Kids send in their homework via email and get it back graded. Do tests at home and email them in as well. The nice thing is you don't have to rush through the curriculum, you pay a monthly fee, but only for 9 months, after that its free. If you finish in less than 9 months then you save some money.

I just got a message from RS today regarding what level to go to next. They suggested a new level.. F.. and then G.. and then Video TEXT..

I am not even as close to Algebra as I thought. So I have two more levels until then.

This site is an INCLUSIVE community that recognizes that homeschoolers choose secular homeschool materials and resources for a variety of reasons and to accomplish a variety of personal and educational goals. Although SecularHomeschool.com, and its members, have worked hard to compile a comprehensive directory of secular curricula, it does not attest that all materials advertised on our site, in our newsletters, or on our social media profiles are 100% secular. Rather, SecularHomeschool.com respects the aptitude of each individual homeschool parent to fully research any curriculum before acquiring it, to ensure that it holistically meets the educational, personal, and philosophical goals of each homeschooler.
