    Default Historical audio books

I am looking for some audio books that are similar to SOTW, but secular. Does this even exist?

Or just some good audio books that are history-based.

I found the History of US but it is $25 per book for recording and there is no recording for the Story of Science as an audio book.

Or some good podcast or ???

I think most people agree that while SOTW is Christian it is still good enough to use. They just present the Christian bits as Myths, just like Greek, Roman, and Egyptian myths.

I did find this The Story of Mankind, Original Edition (Yesterday's Classics): Hendrik Willem van Loon: 9781599152110: Amazon.com: Books . I haven't used it, but some of the (disgruntled) reviewers of SOTW on Amazon suggested.

I looked on Audible and found this: The History of the Ancient World Audiobook | Susan Wise Bauer | Audible.com

It is by Susan Wise Bauer (the same lady who wrote story of the world. I'm looking into it more) Found it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/History-Ancie...=1&*entries*=0

And you can listen to the sample on Audible.

This site is an INCLUSIVE community that recognizes that homeschoolers choose secular homeschool materials and resources for a variety of reasons and to accomplish a variety of personal and educational goals. Although SecularHomeschool.com, and its members, have worked hard to compile a comprehensive directory of secular curricula, it does not attest that all materials advertised on our site, in our newsletters, or on our social media profiles are 100% secular. Rather, SecularHomeschool.com respects the aptitude of each individual homeschool parent to fully research any curriculum before acquiring it, to ensure that it holistically meets the educational, personal, and philosophical goals of each homeschooler.
