Returning to Time4Learning

Rate this Entry

It had been a few months since my 3 kids, one after the other start asking me they wanted to quit Time4Learning. I was really happy with the program but I decided I needed to give them the freedom to choose the way they wanted to learn and so to my regret I closed their Time4Learning accounts. Now after trying other curriculums, different homeschooling approach and after many frustrated hours my kids again had been asking me, one after the other, to let them come back to Time4Learning.

Well, the problem then was to convince my husband about it. At first he was reluctant since he said we couldn't keep jumping from one curriculum to another all the time and we needed to stick to only one. I tried to explain then that when most families start homeschooling they had the same problem until they find what works for them. My kids had been also asking him every single day for the last two weeks to let them do Time4Learning and he finally is willing to let us give it a second try.

I am very excited about coming back. Time4Learning give me the flexibility I need in my homeschooling day. It gives my kids the opportunity to work independently while I can be working with another kid doing hands-on activities, experiments or reading. I also like that kids are not stuck with just one grade level, when enrolling a kids in a grade level they have access also to the lower and upper level. My 3rd grade daughter, for example, will be able to use 2nd grade as well as 4th grade. That is very useful since she will be able to review any subject she is struggling with or get more advanced in another subject that may be too easy for her. Another advantage for me to have Time4Learning as a very useful tool is that since I am not the most organized person I had been having trouble with record keeping. Now I can rest assure that Time4Learning will take this burden from my shoulders. Compared to other programs out there Time4Learning is a valuable program with a very affordable price. I have seen other online programs that charge the same for only one subject. Time4Learning, however offers Language Arts, Math, Science & Social Studies. To my surprise I even got an email in which they were offering me a complete FREE month:

“Parents like hearing feedback from other parents. And although Time4Learning strives to provide families with as much information as possible, sometimes hearing about our program from those who use it can help in the decision making process. It also helps us stay current with the wants and needs of our members. Time4Learning wants to know what you've got to say about our curriculum. In fact, your opinion is so valuable that we'll give you full access for an entire month if you'll write about your experience on your blog or website. Already a member? You can take advantage, too!”

We will be starting Time4Learning this week. With this I will earn a peace of mind knowing my kids are learning what they need for each grade level. My kids will be more focus and willing to do their school work again. No more whining, complaining or endless school hours for us.
