For your enjoyment, and deep relaxation....

I've been reading Dr. Charlotte Resnick's "A Magical Healing Garden" (http://www.imageryforkids.com/art_HealingGarden.html) guided meditation (free on her website) to my 6 year-old daughter almost every other night before bedtime, for the past 3 months. And I've seen results! The messages are very positive, the images are soothing and beautiful.

We also used the Tree House meditation from the Kids Relaxation Site. The blogger is a mother and a school counselor. I love her (also free) relaxation activities (http://kidsrelaxation.com/?cat=9).

For myself, I like to de-stress by reading my horoscope on Rob Brezny's "Free Will Astrology" website (http://www.freewillastrology.com/home.shtml). Besides the horoscopes, the excerpts from his book "Pronoia is the Antidote for Paranoia: How the Whole World is Conspiring to Shower You with Blessings" are super calming. I especially love the piece "I Me Wed" (http://www.freewillastrology.com/beauty/beauty.main281.shtml) about marrying yourself, which I use as a reminder to take better care of myself. Brezny is pro-homeschooling, and has said that he wishes people would try to "home church" as well, in order to reclaim their power.
