One of my GFs sent me some culinary lavender.

Im excited to try it out. I've made soaps and bath stuff with lavender, but never anything edible.

Any favorite uses, recipes, or tips?

I have some in an Herbes de Provence mix. I just sprinkle a little in soups, or on a chicken, etc.

I've never used it alone. I tried some lavender tea bags once. I thought the tea tasted like soap ! I ended up using them as sachets.....

I once used it with my Thanksgiving turkey -- it was growing in the yard of our new house and I thought it was rosemary. Different, but tasted good to me. :D

See, this is what I'm worried about. I'll try a recipe with a lot of fat and sugar.. you know... to cover the soapy taste.
