I just had to add that I have an Uncle Mark, when his daughter was very small, she would say "On my daddy, get set, go!"

"Runners (or writers if it's for freewriting, or whatever) to your mark..." They add in the extra word at cross country meets, so we've incorporated it at home to be silly.

I always say, "Seady, Rett, Go!" in memory of a neighborhood friend's dad who always said it that way when we were kids.

Again, my option is missing. I would click on "I would never race kids. I would clearly keel over from a heart attack because I'm so d*mn old and out of shape."

On your mark, get set, go. Or any variation of the ones listed. Depends on what I'm saying it for.

We usually count to 3 in a different language. Because we're ultra nerdy like that.
