i got a notification that The Old Schoolhouse Magazine now has free apps for apple, android and kindles. i'm not feeling great . . someone remind me . . .is this secular enough to be useful?

In my opinion, no. I subscribed to the print version for a couple of years. The magazine was mostly young-earth conservative Christian pep-talks with a small amount of homeschooling thrown in. My print subscription also put me on their email mailing lists. They send a lot of email with little substance - mostly thinly veiled adds for their products. I unsubscribed.

I have found the curriculum reviews on their website to be useful though.

I've never read the magazine, but I find their reviews to be helpful. Let us know if it's worth it!
