I love, love, love them! Within a minute after they were up, she was in here all alone 'reading' to herself. That's something she doesn't do nearly enough and one of the main motives for these shelves.

Cool! I wish we had the wall space for something like that for library books. They all go into a basket right now, but I would love to have them more visible.

I want to do a separate one for her library books as well. This is in our schoolroom, but I think I'm going to put some in her room as well. They are awesome because they can see the front of the book instead of just the spine. Now, I want them all over the house. ;)

Tres cute! I always wanted those, but we also don't have the wall space for them.

I want some of those! - said in my best whiny voice
I want some by my bed and by my kids' beds. I want some in my family room. I want some in the bathrooms. - You all read in the bathroom, don't you?

I think it's a great idea!
Love it!

I feel the same way Kirsji! They were super easy to do and not terribly expensive. I got the 10 feet of vinyl gutter for $5 bucks. The brackets were almost $3 each and I needed 4 of them. And, the end caps were $3 each and there were 4 of them as well. So, the whole thing cost me about $30, but it was worth it.

I also saw where you can use rain gutters for hanging gardens; I might try that as well.

love them :)

I've also been really wanting to do them as my lettuce garden. but my hubby doesn't want to attach stuff to our outside walls. boo.

I saw one post...somewhere...where they were hung from wires. They drilled holes and ran strong wire through 3 of them and hung them on the porch.

SO cute!!

That's it, I need a new house. Bigger kitchen, more wall space for bookshelves in every room, LOL!!
