I answered a post relating to a question about an abbreviation earlier, and I was thinking that there have been a lot of times when I wasn't clear on abbreviations that have been used relating to homeschooling. I thought a thread that lists these abbreviations plus links where appropriate would be helpful to me (and others too, I suppose... :D)

So, please feel free to add to my short list below with common acronyms and abbreviations related to homeschooling...even if they seem blatantly obvious and well known.

Here is a site (http://mysite.verizon.net/violetweb/home_school_abbreviations.htm) that lists many acronyms quoted in homeschooling circles :)

Wow, Nathalie...I didn't know there were so many acronyms and abbreviations out there related to homeschooling, though it seems that a lot of those are religious oriented ones. Please excuse me if I don't try to copy that whole list onto my post, but I will link that site to the original post as well for convenience. Thank you for the link-it certainly clarifies a lot of those acronyms.

I've added more to the list-some from responses to the home page article, some from the site Nathalie provided the link for. Anyone else care to add more acronyms related to homeschooling?
