Not sure if this has been posted by anyone else but here's a great site about the periodic table of elements. You can click on any of the elements and there's a video about it. I thought it was really awesome!

My daughter loves these videos--they were originally part of a series on the University of Nottingham website. Super fun!

Here they are from their original site: The Periodic Table of Videos - University of Nottingham (http://www.periodicvideos.com/)

And don't miss the dynamic periodic table: Dynamic Periodic Table (http://www.ptable.com/) An incredible wealth of information in a nice interface. My 5.5 yo loves to build molecules with a molecule-building kit, then go here to check out whether they really exist. He also likes to check out the abundance and half-life of different isotopes, melting temperatures, basically everything.

And "Hunting the Elements" documentary on Netflix
