While I was looking for some fun supports I happened upon this site from the University of Wyoming. 3D skeleton - what's not to like? :)

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing, I will use these the next time we get interested in anatomy again ;)

We also liked the Museum of Osteology (as seen on Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe). They used to have a comprehensive guide for identifying herbivore / carnivore skulls and the features of each that we used when DS was in Kindergarten. I only see short educational blurbs now but maybe its buried in their educational page.

I just found a great free app called Essential Skeleton 4. Very cool. Who knew osteology could be so much fun?

ETA we've been using this app and it is fantastic! I highly recommend it and I'd say it is my favorite so far in terms of helping DS see how everything fits together. The bones can be isolated, the skeleton manipulated.... A really superb tool.
