DS and I started listening to Story of the World on CD last year, whenever we had to go errand running (rural town, every trip means 20-30 minutes each way). We listened to Volumes 2 & most of three before we took a break for the summer when DD was home from school. But now he's asked to start listening to it again. Which is awesome. But we're almost done with Vol 3 and I don't want to go to Vol 4 right now.

So I'm on the lookout for other audiobooks that would be as engaging as SOTW for a 10-year-old who apparently loves history. Ideas?

I believe there's an audio version of the Hakim US history books. That seems like the obvious choice.

I'll look those up, thanks.
