Hi! I am looking for an inexpensive way to listen to audiobooks?

Anyone have ANY ideas?

TIA

Our public library is part of a system called overdrive which has audio books on it. It works great and you typically get the books for a week :-) The new amazon unlimited (the $10 a month thing) has some audio books as well, but can't attest to the quantity.

You can checkout audiobooks at our library just like books--3 weeks. Listening even counts as reading in the summer reading program and they have a huge selection.

If your library doesn't have them, places like Half Price Books or eBay have them very inexpensively.

We also use the library but there are some good online sources...

Librivox.org has audiobooks in the public domain read by volunteers. There is a huge selection but it is important to find a reader that you like :)

A similar resource is booksshouldbefree.com.
