We are reading SOTW. We are on chapter 21. I am looking for a movie or a documentary to go along with it. Something age appropriate. She is 9. Any ideas?

Which volume of SOTW?

Volume 1: Ancient Times. So far the book has covered Egypt, Mesopotamia, Assyrians, Greece, Cyclops, Cyrus, etc..

I have Ancient World Brought to Life (http://www.rainbowresource.com/product/sku/005928/0654d7e66795a71ea0d2da6e)DVD series marked as an option for next year, possibly in connection with SOTW, but I haven't used it. If anyone has I would love feedback.

Not about Cyrus specifically, but a great BBC series about technological/intellectual contributions of Mesopotamian civilizations:

Lots of NatGeo documentaries on this period. If I can get the old computer working long enough to pull my resource list off of it, I'll post some specifics.

Along with chapter 21 specifically (which, I could go find my copy of SOTW 1, but I don't know what that is offhand) or about ancient history in general?

Thank you all for the suggestions.

Farrar: Ancient history in general. As long as it has something familiar from the SOTW.

National Geographic's Ancient Civilizations series -- episodes cover Egypt, Phoenicia, and the Americas. Check your library -- this tends to be a popular series to carry.
