Does anyone have any experience getting the bindings sliced off books? If so, where and how much did it cost?

Trying to figure out if I should go at it with an Exacto. . .

That sounds dangerous !

I believe I've seen a big paper slicer at our local Kinkos. I have never had this done to books, but I am considering it for some reproducible workbooks I bought, and that will probably be the first place I check. I know it is also possible to get holes put in so you can put the pages into your own binder.

Thanks, laundry. I have some Evan-Moor reproducibles I'd love to make easier to use.

I had that done once at Staples (or maybe Office Max or similar, can't recall) with an Oak Meadow curriculum and then 3 hole punched for a binder. It was not at all expensive although it was so long ago I can't remember how much it was. The cost doesn't stand out to me at all though which tends to make me think it was pretty inexpensive.
