DD is the only one who homeschools - The teen, who is a senior this year, never homeschooled.

2 of my kids are in public school (DD14, in 10th grade, DS11, in 5th) now, and of the two remaining, only one is of an age to require reporting. So DS8 is officially homeschooled, and DS4 is just home because he's 4, and won't be officially homeschooling til he's 7, regardless of what he may or may not be learning or able to do, by then. I won't be reporting him officially til he is 7, because I can satisfy any desires to document what he's doing at 6, by making my own keepsake portfolio however I like, whereas reporting earlier than is necessary may embolden agendas to lower the compulsory reporting age, for everyone.
Our year is still off to a soft start. The Christmas tree, which wasn't up til a day or so before Christmas, and wasn't decorated until something like Christmas Eve, is still standing there, bubble lights glowing and bubbling. I didn't want to put it up, and I don't want to take it down and store it. Usually I am more peppy about all that, but I'm still less than 3 months from having lost my mother, and don't feel guilty about saying this needs to be Somebody Else's Problem.
On a positive note, I was about ready to give up hope that finding a homeschool social life for DS8 was even worth summoning the energy to try, and then the library homeschool hub had a fun activity and loads of people showed up, and I met some new faces. It felt like a strain, trying to socialize and be outgoing, even though I wanted to. Was so worn out, after. But I have hope now, that we can still make a good go of homeschooling.Middle-aged mom of 4 kids spanning a 10-year age range, homeschooling since 2009, and a public school mom also, since 2017.

I currently homeschool both my daughters in 1st and 3rd grades since Kindergarten. My youngest (son) will be starting homeschool Kindergarten this fall. We love being in control of their education and knowing firsthand what and how they are learning.
I do have a 27 year old who went through public school and it wasn't a pleasant experience for either of us. This partially lead to my desire to homeschool my other children.

As in, graduated high school while homeschooled, or graduated from home school to public school? Just curious because my older two now go to public, and I am unsure how to think of it (does graduating from homeschooling mean being homeschooled through 12th grade, or transitioning from home to public or private school?)

Thanks for clearing that up, Inmom! I kind of think of my daughter's entry to public school for the first time, last year, as her having "graduated" from homeschooling. I was proud, she did well, and it felt tempting to have some sort of "graduating from homeschooling" celebration, but she was NOT interested. Oh well. Just wanted to know which you meant, that they graduated from 12th grade as homeschoolers, or graduated from homeschooling to public or private school somewhere in there.

I have four kids and they are all homeschooled. My youngest is only 4 years old, so she is not officially "enrolled" yet, but she is doing a preschool curriculum that I built myself. My other three are (essentially) in 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade.
