I'm always planning to take time off! We are taking a long weekend for my husband's 50th in March, DS will be going to camp when the PS kids do, and the week after his spring break I have a long weekend away. Spring is going to be pretty light.
Finishing up kindergarten with my oldest and two little ones always underfoot. Kindergarten was awesome. We used Build Your Library and an eclectic mix for math. Everything else was child led.

Yes! We are taking a week in March when ds's BFFs from CO are coming to stay with us for 5 days! Then we'll take a long weekend in April.

Yes, a little over a week at the beginning of March, not anywhere near when schools are off. DH's major reason for agreeing to homeschooling was being able to travel when the crowds are lighter because other kids are in school.

When the kids were younger, we only did if we had a vacation planned then. When they were in high school and taking dual credit, we took off from "home" classes the same time the university had break. So I put other.

Happy Birthday to your hubby, TFZ. Mine also celebrates his 50th in March! Any issues with the landmark birthday for your spouse?

Whenever our kids' friends have time off school, we take time off as well, so they can all hang out together.

Most of February has been a wash for us... so... probably not. Though we need to go to Georgia and see my grandmother. So... maybe then. I dunno. Play it by ear. April is going to be a bit hectic (there are major protests every weekend and ds has a ballet concert). So I'll bet we end up taking some time off then.

Yes, we are taking a break. I have the week off from teaching at the college and we will need a family break of fun.

[s]Spring Cleaning week[/s] Winter Wrapup (because brony) seriously needs to happen here. It won't be much of a vacation for me but ds will be available for Minetest and Hedgewars cyber playdates the week before the first day of spring as long as he does the heavy lifting for me and doesn't complain about being sooooooooo booooooooreeeeeeed while I'm mopping, scrubbing, decluttering etc.
    I am not a robot.

Neither are any of my kids.
