Summer Creative Writing Course for teen?
Does anyone have any recommendations for a summer creative writing course? I can't remember if Bravewriter offers summer classes or not. But other ideas are welcome!

I just heard from Bravewriter that they will be offering a fan fic writing class for teens, if that works.

They do, I'm pretty sure... but I'm not sure if they're announced yet... though if they are, everything's on sale this week - something to do with the GHC convention kerfuffle.

Hee, hee. I'm going to use that phrase as often as I can.
I couldn't find anything past May on the BW site. Fanfic isn't really Jazz's thing, so hopefully something else will crop up. I don't even know where to look locally, though I guess I could shout out to our local hs email lists and (ooh, here's a thought) ask Jazz's writing teacher at school.~Christina

I don't know if this would be helpful or not. I just started looking at it. They have an online high school but also the option to take enrichment courses one at a time.Julie,

Thanks, Julie--I'll check it out. Jazz liked the Plato Science course he took that is also offered via EPGY.

I also already got back an email from Jazz's writing teacher (who is also his advisor) and she is checking into options for him. Will post if she lets me know of anything online.

This was a great question! My 12 yo is enjoying taking writing courses from Time4Writing, but so far his courses are more mechanics and structure. I'm sure he would really like to take a creative writing course. I'm going to check out the Bravewriter thing now, and I look forward to seeing if any other ideas/suggestions pop up!
