I created this French blog that has lots of activities which will help you teach your children French.  If you don't know French already, no problem.  You can learn along side your children!

Enjoy!

Thats funny, my husband is french canadian, and we tried to raise our child bilingual, but he was such a late talker, we dropped the french.  I dont know any french, but my 17 yo dd took french in school .. . her step father was only minimally helpful.  He says he's not a teacher.  But still, i considering trying to teach the boys (13 and 6) french next year or the year after.  I can read more than I can speak, tho.

My husband is French Canadian too!  I understand about dropping it because of a late talker.  My 3rd child is 2 and isn't speaking much, so I really concentrate on English with him.

oh, thats funny!  My husband is from gatineu (sp?) which is just outside of ottawa - his mom, youngest sister and that sister's husband barely speak any english, his other sister speaks some, and his other bil and his brother and sil are all fluent in english .. . between the language barrier and my and my boys food allergy issues, i'm not very excited about visiting . ..
