Some of you might remember that my 7yo son Mitchell was having some trouble with math and that trouble crept it's way through most of what we did.  It got to the point of being a battle to do any kind of work with him.

Over the past little while things have improved.  Last week I introduced multiplication in math and after just one day of it he said it was "fun.  Really fun!".   Who are you and what did you do with the boy who used to get so frustrated doing adding and subtracting?  Today we breezed through ELA and he actually asked to do math after that!  In all today we did the ELA, some math review of all he's done in the past month or so and some science.  It just all went so well I had to say something here.  It's been a while since we've had one of those days where I say to myself "Yeah, this is why I love homeschooling!"
